IV Alive

Tie Xuan Zhi is the rank four upper stage head of Tie clan's four old-timers, present when Tie Mu Bai returns to speak with Tie Ruo Nan.

At the graves beside Tie Ruo Nan, he offers condolences while she stares at the tombstones. Former clan leader Tie Mu Bai approaches from behind, touches his shoulder, and suppresses the force in his aperture until he cannot move. San Cha mountain afterward

On San Cha Mountain, as head of Tie clan’s four old-timers, he softens his voice to tell Tie Ruo Nan that the fanatic charge likely ties to Mo Wu Tian, while the four surround her in a protective formation. Another of the four then argues they should not pick a fight with that rank five expert and should keep their objective on little beast king. ch. 394

Capture of Fang Yuan

During Fang Yuan’s escape attempt, four chains extend from nowhere, bind his limbs, and drag him into the void; he reappears in the bronze hall, where the four old-timers stand at north, south, east, and west around him and activate their killer move Infinite Search and Lock. ch. 398

Bronze hall assault

With Tie Bai Qi covering the dog groups, Tie Ruo Nan brings the four old-timers into the hall; they join the fight behind her against Bai Ning Bing, and later join her again when that scheme is exposed. ch. 403
