The hall is dark blue and extremely plain, built of large cube bronze blocks with much moss on them from long existence. The bronze underfoot feels chill. From deep in the hall the flooring cracks open and a bronze cauldron with three legs and two handles rises, then the floor closes around it. Inside is a thin layer of greenish, crystal-clear immortal essence that gives off a rusty smell and slowly decreases. ch. 377 Under dark blue light, relief sculptures on the hall surface protrude into solid form. ch. 378 The bronze main hall sits on a hill with gentle slopes. Inside it is spacious and majestic, with walls that echo footsteps. ch. 390
Fang Yuan reaches the hall
When Fang Yuan wakes after the land spirit pulls him from the red eggmen fight, he is in a dark blue hall built of large cube bronze blocks with moss on them, chill under his back from the bronze. He recognizes land spirit Ba Gui and names this place the main hall of the blessed land. At Ba Gui’s gaze deep in the hall, the flooring opens and a three-legged, two-handled bronze cauldron rises, holding a thin layer of greenish immortal essence that smells of rust and slowly decreases as Gu Masters enter and leave the opened blessed land. ch. 377
Stored materials
Ba Gui says large amounts of materials and Gu worms for refining Second Aperture Gu are already stored in the main hall. Dark blue light makes relief sculptures on the hall surface protrude into solid form: at least five thousand Gu worms from rank one to rank five, over six hundred rank four Gu, no less than eighty rank five Gu, over ten yellow gold relic Gu, and eight purple crystal relic Gu. Ba Gui also brings out rank six Immortal Gu Divine Travel, sealed like a yellow hollow gem with purple smoke inside, with a strong wine fragrance that makes Fang Yuan feel drunk and dizzy until he holds his breath. ch. 378
Early refinement steps use green pond rotten soil, eight desolate blood powder, and earth treasury flower Gu, then jade bone Gu, ice muscle Gu, and yellow golden relic Gu, with later balance steps naming stellar fire prairie Gu and snowy plain Gu among many further recipe materials. ch. 378
Blessed land center
Bai Ning Bing looks at the great bronze main hall and reads it as the blessed land’s center area. Fang Yuan expects Che clan, Zuo clan, and other experts to attack that central main hall at the final juncture. By then the relief sculptures on the bronze tiles have already disappeared by more than half. ch. 389
Hill, fog, and cauldron
The bronze main hall sits on a hill with gentle slopes rather than steep defense ground. Fang Yuan brings Feng Tian Yu inside while hairy men and dog beasts hold the outside line, and land spirit fog soon covers the hall and the hill. Inside, the hall is spacious and majestic; bronze tiles that once held materials and Gu are already mostly empty after earlier refinement work, with a bronze cauldron still in use. ch. 390
Hall judgment
Fang Yuan later judges that the blessed land’s important central area has only this bronze hall, useful for storage but thin in defense and impressive looking but useless compared with stronger blessed-land fortifications he knows. ch. 395
