Purple Crystal Relic Gu

Relic Gu is a sphere-shaped mortal Gu, thumb-sized, with an ordinary appearance. The same list names rank five purple crystal Relic Gu. ^{ch. 1796}

Later text lists the mortal line from rank one to rank five as green copper, red steel, white silver, yellow gold, and purple crystal Relic Gu, and states that Relic Gu are mortal Gu with no rank six or higher Immortal Gu form. Green copper, red steel, and white silver Relic Gu are widely sold; yellow gold and purple crystal Relic Gu are tightly controlled in the mortal market, while treasure yellow heaven still has them. Gu Immortals cannot raise their own cultivation through purple crystal Relic Gu. Fang Yuan buys three purple crystal Relic Gu there. ^{ch. 469}

Purple crystal Relic Gu can raise a rank five Gu Master’s cultivation. Fang Yuan needs three clean copies to reach peak stage; after sorting tampered vats he uses two sound ones to reach rank five upper stage, then two hair-marked ones whose combined strength brings him to rank five peak stage, with no side-effects that weaken foundation. ^{ch. 475}

Later text calls Relic Gu a sphere-shaped mortal Gu, thumb-sized, with an ordinary appearance, and names rank five purple crystal Relic Gu in the same rank list. It also states that relic Gu are human path Gu worms, which is why they form naturally and why Gu Immortals cannot create them. ^{ch. 1796}
