Chapter 1958

The released human wills let both sides’ Gu Immortals hear the whispers of countless people. Heavenly Court’s morale soars, but doubts surface because the enemies are amplified too, seemingly slightly more strongly. When the fighting resumes, Heavenly Court finds that heroes among people, its own method, helps the enemies more. Its Gu Immortals begin to fall into a disadvantage. ^{ch. 1958}

Shen Cong Sheng attacks Feng Jiu Ge with Grand Collision and forces him to retreat constantly, though Feng Jiu Ge keeps maintaining destiny song to support his allies. Shen Cong Sheng tells Feng Jiu Ge that almost all the world’s people thirst for freedom and that coming to this battlefield was really the right decision. ^{ch. 1958}

After a stalemate, Duke Long falls into a disadvantage, feeling weakness and helplessness despite his overwhelming determination. Heroes among people amplifies Fang Yuan the most of anyone, and Duke Long asks in shock and fury why a demon receives the greatest help. Fang Yuan replies that the hearts of the people have changed. In the Olden Antiquity Era, he says, humanity sought survival space, so the three Demon Venerables held back when invading Heavenly Court. More than a million years after that era, he adds, Heavenly Court can no longer represent the will of all humans. ^{ch. 1958}

Fang Yuan fights with every joint, destroys qi breath mountain, breaks the spiraling dragon fangs and keeps suppressing dragon claw strike and chaotic dragon fist. Duke Long’s fingers snap, his fist fractures against Fang Yuan’s, and the nine dragon tattoos are destroyed to a huge degree. Blood flows from his mouth and then from all seven orifices. ^{ch. 1958}

Long ago, the rockman Tu Ji, a rule path cultivator, credited fate with his love for the human immortal Ruo Li. Then she told him that fate decreed she would die at Reckless Savage Demon Venerable’s hands. She had checked the prophecy many times with the same result. After a long silence, Tu Ji said he did not believe in fate and would not accept it. ^{ch. 1958}

Reckless Savage’s will cheers from the cape. Fang Yuan stays cold, fighting this way only to maximize the advantage of incomplete freedom transformation.
