Fairy Zi Wei then checks another front: Fang Yuan’s injured upper extreme heavenly eagle, fleeing through black heaven from two newly ascended Heavenly Court Gu Immortals who coordinate their killer moves against it. They deal it only small wounds on purpose. One of them uses an immortal killer move that follows behind the eagle and matches whatever speed it flies at. They fear a last ditch attack and want to take it alive, and its healing speed as an immemorial desolate beast is matched by their killer moves. The eagle crosses the heavenly wind qi wall into white heaven with ease, but Fairy Zi Wei had lent the two pursuers an Immortal Gu House in advance, and they split up to box it in with nowhere left to flee. Fairy Zi Wei says that despite some mishaps everything remains within her expectations and control, be it the humans, the eagle, or Red Lotus’ true inheritance. ch. 1404
