Chapter 1303

In Wu clan’s hall, Wu Yong tells Wu Yu Bo, a prideful Gu Immortal at peak rank seven, that Immortal Yan Huang’s challenge is really a bid by Xia clan for Moon Bowl. Moon Bowl produces moon path Gu worms, one of the clan’s most important resources. Wu Yu Bo, having already beaten Yan Huang twice, is confident of a third win. ^{ch. 1303}

Fang Yuan moves to help. Xia Qing Cang warns him off, but Fang Yuan turns into a divination tortoise and charges into the battlefield regardless. Xia Qing Cang strikes him with scattering mind, a wisdom path killer move built from the concept of deduction. Fang Yuan breaks the battlefield killer move and saves Wu Yu Bo. He calls out that Wu clan has lost and concedes Moon Bowl. Xia Qing Cang stops Yan Huang from pressing the kill. He reminds him that Moon Bowl was the objective. He reminds Yan Huang that, as an external supreme elder of Xia clan, he must think of the clan’s benefit first.
