Moon Bowl is not a bowl; it is a valley with a peculiar bowl shape, called Moon Bowl because it produces moon path Gu worms. A village once stood in it with a Gu Immortal known as Immortal Yan Huang. When Wu clan expanded it eradicated the village to take Moon Bowl, and as a righteous path clan it needed a proper reason rather than killing Yan Huang outright.
