Spectral Soul Demon Venerable names soul replacement as an immortal killer move he created, and likens Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable to it: Thieving Heaven’s soul is from another world, but his body was born here, so he is only half an otherworldly demon. The grey soul ball expands into the young man’s appearance, occupies the body, and takes over as the native Zhan Bu Du; this grey soul ball is the soul path killer move Soul Replacement. Shadow Sect had used this move to plant spies in Lang Ya blessed land, and the traitor Sixth Hair was still alive; the grey soul ball originates from Fang Yuan’s desolate soul and cannot be detected by land spirits or heavenly spirits, which is the specialty of soul replacement, and if not for that, Lang Ya land spirit would have discovered Shadow Sect’s spies long ago. Fang Yuan modified soul replacement on that foundation, adding many transformation path Immortal Gu so the grey soul ball can resist myriad beings assimilation transformation; after the replacement succeeds, his actions are observable by the heavenly spirit, though he has already destroyed the lad’s soul and obtained his memories.
