Heaven Form

Combining the heavenly spirit with other Gu worms forms the rank nine move, but without refining the spirit he still cannot manipulate it; turning it into a killer move slows how fast heaven’s will replenishes. He does not use it himself; before vanishing he leaves it among his arrangements and states that generations of wills must cleanse it before a Gu Immortal can truly refine and use it, calling it only half a Thieving Heaven true inheritance. The Heaven Surveying Five Xiangs later find that half inheritance, fail to agree on ownership, and set a bet to decide who gains the move. ^{ch. 1639}

Heaven form comes under Fang Yuan’s control after he outlasts the Qi clan Gu Immortals’ wills inside the move. ^{ch. 1640}

Fang Yuan obtains full grasp of heaven form; it appears as a rank nine white crane that obeys him. ^{ch. 1681} The move is investigative rather than offensive or defensive: in immemorial white heaven its detection range is vast, and a nearby white crane can gather inner scenes of grotto-heavens even when their apertures stay closed, without spending immortal essence on that detection. Forcing entry into a grotto-heaven does spend immortal essence; the crane then emits soft light that opens a quiet white light passage for him to enter. ^{ch. 1682} He later tries the same intrusion against Profound Literature grotto-heaven from more than one angle and is still blocked. ^{ch. 1684}

Fang Yuan activates immortal killer move Heaven Form and creates a huge entrance into Fire Plain grotto-heaven through brute force. ^{ch. 2107}

Heaven form appears as a one-legged crane covered in snow-white feathers with a long red beak; when active it spreads its wings and flies, and when inactive it stands on one leg with its neck coiled on its back. Fang Yuan has kept it in immemorial white heaven all along and cannot take it away, because its foundation is there. When immemorial white heaven and black heaven fuse, that foundation is affected, and without timely aid the move would be destroyed. ^{ch. 2226}
