One vs Seven (1/4)
Fang Yuan has been restraining his aura with breath concealment Gu, but his true aura now explodes out. Tie Ruo Nan’s group had believed him to be rank four initial stage, so all seven are very surprised to find him at rank four middle stage, surpassing young master Ruo Nan. Tie Ba Xiu recovers fastest and meets Fang Yuan’s fists in mid-air. He lands stably while Fang Yuan is sent flying. ch. 360

He tells Tie Ao Kai to stop scouting, as he came alone, and calls their path very hidden and suited to killing them all. Tie Ba Xiu’s expression turns completely dark. At Tie Ba Xiu’s talk of seeking death, Fang Yuan laughs without restraint, and fear spreads among the seven. ch. 360
Fang Yuan resumes his attack, and Tie Ruo Nan calls for a fight. The formation opens, with Tie Dao Ku and Tie Xian Hua at the front and Tie Ba Xiu beside Tie Ruo Nan. Fang Yuan charges in with charging crash Gu. Tie Xian Hua grows an enormous black golden lotus from her palm into umbrella lotus Gu and charges behind it as a shield. A white elephant phantom appears above Fang Yuan, and he sends her flying ten feet, though she lands without falling. ch. 360
He ignores her and drives at Tie Ruo Nan with killing intent. She half kneels with both hands on the ground and uses rank three grass puppet Gu to make rattan shell grass soldiers, each able to kill a rank one Gu Master, eighteen in moments. A dozen of them, powered by a rank four Gu Master, can merge into one rank four grass sword elite soldier. Her talent resembles Bai Ning Bing’s and she investigated Qing Mao mountain, so he judges she cannot be left alive. He had wanted her dead back at Shang clan city, but the timing was poor then. Tie Ao Kai releases a swarm of golden needle mosquitoes, and Tie Dao Ku rushes in with hand blade Gu and swift shadow Gu. Fang Yuan meets them head on and bleeds from wounds all over his body. ch. 360
Because of bitter strength Gu, his wounds make him stronger, and three more phantoms appear above him: green bull, horse and stone turtle. He sends Tie Xian Hua flying again while Tie Dao Ku retreats. Tie Ba Xiu steps in with tyrant strength Gu, and their collision sends both back seven to eight steps in a draw. Fang Yuan has four phantoms, but Tie Ba Xiu’s rank four tyrant strength Gu, inherited from the ancient strength path, holds an overlord’s strength. Tie Ba Xiu then blocks him again, the group believes him trapped, and all join in with golden needle mosquitoes, flower rain and hand blades from every side. ch. 360

Close to a thousand soldiers now surround Tie Ruo Nan, who keeps creating more. As an enslavement path Gu Master she excels at attrition, so time works against Fang Yuan, and killing her is his best answer, but Tie Ba Xiu keeps him entangled. Tie Ba Xiu admires the ferocious junior, whose shrewdness, ruthlessness, calmness and steadiness exceed even what Tie clan’s intel said. He decides Fang Yuan must be killed, or he will become a calamity for the righteous path, and his killing intent soars. ch. 360
