Chapter 1851

The dragonman clone Wu Shuai enters Dragon Palace and flies inside it into Gu tribe’s blessed land, staying vigilant because its leader is rank eight. The land is vast, larger than some grotto-heavens. Its foundation ranks third among the blessed lands Fang Yuan has seen, behind Lang Ya and Imperial Court, and most of its immortal materials are extinct in the current era. Gu tribe is not human and receives the help of heaven’s will, so its calamities would not be very strong. ^{ch. 1851}

The leader guides Wu Shuai to a primordial forest holding a huge tribe of over ten thousand, all beastmen. Human records call beastmen extinct, but heaven left a lineage in the sea surviving in isolation. The tribe welcomes Wu Shuai warmly, and at the banquet he walks out of Dragon Palace with two rank eight dragon generals as bodyguards. The leader’s pupils shrink a little at the sight and he turns more enthusiastic. After talking, the leader dispels his suspicions. ^{ch. 1851}

The beastmen have never forgotten their enmity with humans, and almost every leader has wanted to create internal conflict among humans and rise up. The real Wu Shuai met his generation’s leader, a formidable person who, because of their alignments, helped him become an immortal and went after fate Gu with him. To deal with dragonman extermination they made an alliance agreement of both races. The clone and the leader discussed it at the door. Fang Yuan, having inherited Dragon Palace, wants to use the arrangement and the tribe’s strength to gather force against Heavenly Court. ^{ch. 1851}

In Western Desert, Yang Zi He and Zhang Yin succeed, and Yang Zi He’s last attack turns an oasis, a large Fang clan resource point, into rubble. It is the third place destroyed, so Fang clan loses three large resource points in one day. Words in the rubble say Dong Lu Chen was here, which shocks Dong clan. Dong Lu Chen, its first supreme elder, scolds the frame as a shameless plot, suspects super forces besides Fang and Dong rather than Fang Yuan, and writes to Fang clan’s first supreme elder Fang Gong. Fang clan had earlier taken revenge on Dong Lu Chen by razing a Dong clan oasis with a theft path Immortal Gu House. Fang Di Chang, a wisdom path Gu Immortal, sees through the plot and has Fang Gong propose finding the culprit together. ^{ch. 1851}

Dong Lu Chen finds this a little troublesome, because Fang clan is roping Dong clan in and, once stronger, would first eat into the bordering Dong territory. Refusing might imply a guilty conscience, so he goes to the scene with Fang clan’s Gu Immortals. They cannot find the truth, since Fang Yuan, who sent two dragon generals, definitely had ways to divert them, and the answer points to nearby forces. Both clans stay calm and very restrained. Dong Lu Chen keeps those forces to himself, needing them against Fang clan. Fang Gong suggests that Suan Bu Jin, whom he trusts as Fang clan’s external supreme elder, help Fang Di Chang unravel Divine Bean Palace, and Fang Di Chang cannot decide. ^{ch. 1851}

In Southern Border, Xia Cha, released by Fang Yuan with her body and soul but her immortal aperture annexed, is now a mortal and still first supreme elder in name. She vows revenge on Fang Yuan, though the hope is slim. Xia clan’s third supreme elder brings her a letter from Fang Yuan in an information path mortal Gu. She refuses to read it and calls it merely a scheme to extort Southern Border’s righteous path. ^{ch. 1851}

The elder notes Fang Yuan has been buying luck path immortal materials. Guessing the offer is Immortal Gu, she tells him to let the second supreme elder trade for any that benefits the clan. The offer is a mortal Gu, which she scorns as wishful thinking, but at his urging she reads the letter and her expression changes. She demands the mortal Gu at any price and orders all the luck path immortal materials given to Fang Yuan. ^{ch. 1851}
