Making Arrangements in Eastern Sea
At Shen clan headquarters, purple rosewood myriad sparrow island in Eastern Sea, first supreme elder Shen Cong Sheng serves Fang Yuan six sound tea. It is Shen clan’s signature tea, incredibly famous in the five regions, and it comes as a set of six cups with very specific rules for drinking. Fang Yuan drinks all six and is deeply entranced until two hours have passed. He praises it, saying it lives up to its name, and Shen Cong Sheng laughs, incredibly happy that three days and nights of preparation by his clan’s Gu Immortals were worth it. The tea is made of immortal materials, and Shen Cong Sheng took part in the refining himself, using a large amount of top grade rank eight immortal materials. That is truly a luxury, and it shows his enthusiasm. ch. 1850
Shen Cong Sheng then tours Fang Yuan around the island, a giant resource point made of the immemorial desolate plant sea suppressing purple rosewood. Sparrow cries shake its branches into sounds that calm the surrounding seas. After two days of personal attendance, Shen Cong Sheng presents gifts with both hands, a large amount of immortal materials and two stalks of ancient desolate plant sea suppressing purple rosewood. Each stalk is a large sized resource point, grown from a special branch the plant yields only every eight hundred years. He has invested much more than Song Qi Yuan, whose welcome Fang Yuan received earlier. ch. 1850
After his visits to Song clan and Shen clan, Fang Yuan expects his reputation to have spread across all five regions. His Qi Sea Ancestor identity was destined for renown from the moment he fought Duke Long toe to toe. He expects Eastern Sea’s other super forces to invite him in turn, and wants exactly that. Eastern Sea is rich but disunited, with no leader of great aspirations or foresight. Qi Sea Ancestor has no resource conflict with Eastern Sea’s super forces and fights on the level of Duke Long, so he could become alliance leader in name. Shen Cong Sheng and Song Qi Yuan want him to stay for protection in the coming war, not knowing Fang Yuan wants it too. With four Eastern Sea rank eights already serving as Dragon Palace’s dragon generals, he could lead the region at the Central Continent Refinement Path Convention, while Heavenly Court attempts to mend fate Gu. ch. 1850
Dragon Palace dives to the sea bottom, and after a wait the dragonman clone’s voice asks where Gu tribe is. An entrance opens in the sea, showing a hidden blessed land, and a rank eight Gu Immortal walks out, alert but with traces of excitement. He names himself the thirty-nine thousand seven hundred and sixty-seventh Gu tribe leader and asks who owns Dragon Palace. The clone says he is Wu Shuai. ch. 1850
Asked about his link to Fang Yuan, the clone calls it mutual cooperation, since he could not have revived without Fang Yuan’s help. The leader is not surprised, because news of Duke Long, Fang Yuan and the fight with Qi Sea Ancestor has spread far and wide. The clone asks whether Gu tribe will uphold the agreement from a million years ago. The leader answers that it needs deep discussion. He gives way and invites Wu Shuai in. ch. 1850
