Chapter 1464

Relieved, Xue Er introduces herself to Hei Lou Lan, a fellow rank six immortal. She hopes to build good relations with Fang Yuan’s people, but Hei Lou Lan is only warm on the surface. Privately, Hei Lou Lan finds Xue Er’s sudden, mysterious arrival suspicious and doubts her goal is simple. Fang Yuan has told nobody but Ying Wu Xie about the marriage connection, so Hei Lou Lan knows only that the Shadow Sect immortals are to take Xue Er along in Tai Qiu. ^{ch. 1464}

Hei Lou Lan is an ambitious woman who, even under the alliance agreement that costs her freedom, has always wanted to break free of Fang Yuan’s control. She is charged with finding sharp tusk boars and cannot locate any, so she joins the group to ask Fairy Miao Yin for help. She then feeds Xue Er useful information to draw information back out of her. Following Ying Wu Xie’s lead, they spot a huge sharp tusk boar. Hei Lou Lan flies at it alone, fiercer than the sharp tusk boar itself, her aura changing instantly into terrifyingly powerful heaven blazing flames. She fights with battle strength on par with rank seven, using Immortal Gu and the true inheritance of Blazing Heaven Demoness that Fang Yuan left for her instead of keeping them himself.
