Refining Attitude Gu
Two Immortal Gu trades already succeeded, Fang Yuan central to both. The newcomer Chu Ying earns newfound respect. Pleased at the reputation this brings him, Miao Ming Shen opens the second round by calling Tong Hua up. ch. 1300
Tong Hua offers another type of desolate beast. Fang Yuan remarks to Miao Ming Shen that she seems to be developing her blessed land. Miao Ming Shen says she recently passed a tribulation. A tribulation greatly damages an aperture’s resources but grants dao marks that make it more accommodating, so she is trading widely to restock it. ch. 1300
Miao Ming Shen calls her very affluent, owner of rainbow aurora sea, extremely beautiful where aurora weaves the sky at dawn and dusk. Fang Yuan asks for her light shine fungus; Miao Ming Shen gladly agrees. ch. 1300
Fang Yuan understands Miao Ming Shen’s warmer manner: the hundred years of lifespan Gu he added to the trade. Lifespan Gu is only a mortal Gu. It is rare enough that many Gu Immortals hold theirs back and refuse to trade them. Miao Ming Shen’s lifespan is not near its end but he does not have much left, so he hunts the River of Time’s tributary for a way to extend it. He entered the blue dragon whale many times across Fang Yuan’s previous five hundred years looking for the lifespan Gu inside. Reasoning Fang Yuan must hold even more, Miao Ming Shen sets out to deepen the relationship, unaware it was Fang Yuan’s plan or that Fang Yuan grasps that whale opportunity better. ch. 1300
The second round continues until Fang Yuan’s turn to trade Woman’s Heart, when his expression changes and he announces urgent business, leaving early. The room is shocked, powerless to stop him. Miao Ming Shen promises to notify him later. Away in the clouds, his expression turns ugly: a wisdom path expert began deducing him, forcing him to spend nearly all of Dark Limit’s power escaping, uncertain whether the deduction targets Fang Yuan or Liu Guan Yi. ch. 1300
At a safe distance, he combines the new divination tortoise shell Immortal Gu with change form Immortal Gu. The killer move is Divination Tortoise Transformation. Lacking mortal Gu support the move’s effect is not outstanding, and the form carries none of the divination tortoise’s battle strength, but change form Immortal Gu still lets him hold it and buy time. ch. 1300
He settles his aperture and stays inside for days. He wants Dark Limit to recover and to work out how to refine attitude Gu. Neither of his two new Immortal Gu suits the task, and the third Gu he would have taken in exchange for Woman’s Heart might have. He hopes to fuse a new killer move into reverse flow protection seal, so Reverse Flow River would circle him and refine any Immortal Gu that flew inside, but he makes no progress at the convention. ch. 1300
He spends Lang Ya Sect contribution points to borrow refinement path Immortal Gu. The borrowing stirs another commotion in treasure yellow heaven, which he accepts as the only route open to him. He devises a killer move using Reverse Flow River to refine attitude Gu, slowing deliberately. After half a month, he succeeds: attitude Gu, rank eight, is finally his. ch. 1300
