Xiong Village

When a new thunder crown wolf pack reaches Gu Yue and Bai ground, elders guess it is the same force that attacked Xiong village, and some curse Xiong village for failing to hold even one wave. A lightning lycan is the true commander of that pack, and with that army of lightning wolves it is no wonder the Xiong clan was exterminated by them. ^{ch. 168}

Later Gu Yue talk still treats Xiong clan as eliminated, then has to reverse that when an Xiong envoy arrives: Xiong clan still has a large number of survivors who retreated using a Gu their ancestor left behind and concealed many people. Gu Yue planning after that turn treats stealing the spirit spring as the prize if Xiong strength proves weak enough to crush. ^{ch. 175}

Qing Mao Mountain has only three spirit springs, and each is occupied by one of the three clans, so the Xiong seat holds one of those springs. After compensation talks fail, the three sides decide on a three-clan competition, with Xiong village able to preserve most of its strength. ^{ch. 180}

After the later crisis on Qing Mao Mountain, the mountain has already turned into a desolate ice mountain, and the three great clans along with countless living beings have all been frozen and will die within three to five days. ^{ch. 199}
