Jade Pot Mountain

Ying Wu Xie’s group reaches the mountain interior. Bai Ning Bing stands in an icy cave and says that Jade Pot Mountain has jade soil on the surface, producing beautiful jade renowned in Southern Border, while the interior is an icy land, another world. As they go deeper, temperature falls and frost energy rises. Ying Wu Xie stops and says they have reached a rank six immortal aperture left by a strength path Gu Immortal of Shadow Sect, and tells Hei Lou Lan to annex it because she has enough strength path attainment to skip upcoming calamities and tribulations. ^{ch. 1184}

Deeper still, a wall of ice holds at least a thousand blue hearts. Tai Bai Yun Sheng names them ice hearts. Hei Lou Lan adds that twin ice hearts, a rank seven immortal material, are present in quantity. Shi Nu says that if Southern Border Gu Immortals knew, they would fight until rivers of blood flowed for these ice hearts. ^{ch. 1186}

Jade Pot Mountain is not empty: Yu clan village sits on the mountain, living on jade stones and jade Gu. Among mortal forces that village is powerful with many rank five Gu Masters, but to Gu Immortals it is not worth mentioning. ^{ch. 1186}

Ying Wu Xie says Shadow Sect found the place by fortuitous encounter, that natural ice hearts here are fewer, and that Shadow Sect Gu Immortals secretly set a Gu formation to turn the place into a Gu breeding ground. Ice heart Gu once nurtured here were taken away; one ice heart Immortal Gu has now fully formed. Bai Ning Bing retrieves rank six ice soul Immortal Gu from the ice wall by the method Ying Wu Xie teaches. Ying Wu Xie later says Shadow Sect spent a thousand years mimicking a natural environment to create this Gu refinement ground. ^{ch. 1186}
