Flying Bone Shield Gu is a Gu from the Bai Gu mountain white bone inheritance. When used, three small flying bone shields float around the Gu Master.
In the second white bone hall on Bai Gu mountain, Fang Yuan and Bai Ning Bing find Flying bone shield Gu held in one of three white bone pillar hands beside Ribcage shield Gu and Arm bone wings Gu. After activation, three white bone shields surround the Gu Master and circle front, left, back, and right. ch. 265 The floating shields block attacks. When Wei Yang strikes with a light broadsword during a Shang clan city spar, the blade first splits a white bone shield into half while Fang Yuan has Flying bone shield Gu active with canopy Gu. ch. 266

Hei Lou Lan sends Hei Xiu Yi, a defense-specialized black banner commander, onto the stage. Hei Xiu Yi fields fifty-six flying bone shields that hover and shield him, and a green halo later repairs cracks in those shields. An enormous foot smash then breaks the fifty-six shields in under a second. ch. 498
Covering shield wall
Facing a combined strike, Hei Xiu Yi again raises fifty-six flying bone shields in a blocking wall, with oil wind between the shields as part of his defense set, and holds for a stretch while protecting Fang Yuan behind him. ch. 512
Seal and reversion
When thirty-eight sealing arts contaminates Fang Yuan’s defense, the white bone shields hovering around him fall one after another and turn back into flying bone shield Gu. ch. 642
