Eight Extremities

Retorting to Five Elements Grandmaster inside Longevity Heaven, Heaven Extremity boasts that if not for him, the Eight Extremities would already have gone to rebuild Eighty-Eight True Yang Building. ^{ch. 1181}

Longevity Heaven has twelve positions, split into Eight Extremities and Four Desolations. The Eight Extremities are Heaven Extremity, Earth Extremity, Black Extremity, Yellow Extremity, Space Extremity, Time Extremity, Flood Extremity, and Desolate Extremity, eight rank seven Gu Immortals. Those twelve hold the core authority of Longevity Heaven and are elites among Gu Immortals, though the grotto-heaven also has other Gu Immortals. Heaven Extremity leads them. Earth Extremity is second-in-charge. When ringing alarm bell sounds through Longevity Heaven, Heaven Extremity says they will follow South Desolation Immortal to obtain love Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 1238}

The Four Desolation Immortals are only meant for rank eight Gu Immortals. The Eight Extremities need at least rank seven cultivation level, and they have to be elites among rank sevens. ^{ch. 1692}

When Bing Sai Chuan orders them out of Calamity Luck Altar to attack Book Mountain, the eight leave and activate an ancient battle formation named Eight Extremities. The roster that sortie names is Heaven Extremity Gai Mei, Earth Extremity Gan Ni, Black Extremity Sun Ming Lu, Yellow Extremity Jiao Huo, Space Extremity Chang Bai, Time Extremity Man Xin Yi, Flood Extremity Yu Yi Yi, and Desolate Extremity Lu Tong Lan. Ordinary ancient battle formations gather many Gu Immortals’ strength into one body; this formation instead splits the gathered power among the eight, surging their battle strength from rank seven toward rank eight elites. Under the killer move eight extremities they share thoughts and vision and can even share killer moves across paths, so a fire path Yellow Extremity can unleash a space path method while they cooperate beyond ordinary imagination. ^{ch. 2182} Later summaries still list Longevity Heaven’s Eight Extremities formation among major combat systems fielded in the Crazed Demon Cave contest. ^{ch. 2215}
