Four Desolations

Longevity Heaven has twelve positions, separated into Eight Extremities and Four Desolations. The Four Desolation Immortals are East Desolation, South Desolation, West Desolation, and North Desolation, four rank eight immortals. Those twelve hold the core authority of Longevity Heaven and are elites among Gu Immortals, though the grotto-heaven also has other Gu Immortals. When ringing alarm bell sounds, Earth Extremity says they can only awaken the Four Desolation Immortals, and South Desolation Immortal appears in azure-gold armor, old and muscular, with a beard to his chest. The Eight Extremities greet him as Lord South Desolation and agree to follow his lead to obtain love Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 1238}

The Four Desolation Immortals are only meant for rank eight Gu Immortals. Bull Demon and Flower Lady take the role of North Desolation Immortal together as a duo: Bull Demon is a muscular brute with a thick beard and thunderous voice, extremely tall and strong, while Flower Lady is a little girl with a flower on her head who sits on his shoulder, giggling with crystal-like eyes. When West Desolation Immortal Bing Sai Chuan awakens, they greet him as Senior West Desolation; Bing Sai Chuan is a time path great expert from Giant Sun Immortal Venerable’s generation, and among the Four Desolation Immortals East Desolation Immortal has the highest status while Bing Sai Chuan is second. ^{ch. 1692}

At Longevity Heaven’s most central area, Calamity Luck Altar has the Four Desolations in its four directions, with eight areas for the Eight Extremities around them. Golden light radiates above the Four Desolations. ^{ch. 2220}
