Battle strength at this height need not be even across offense and defense. Lu Wei Yin lacks offense in one clash, yet his defense is firmly in the realm of pseudo venerable level, while a strong killer that can kill many rank eights is still judged short of that level. Speakers still draw a hard line: however strong Fang Yuan is, he is still just a pseudo venerable, not a true venerable. ^{ch. 2173}
