Purple gold rock

Fang Yuan recalls that a lucky buyer once opened such a fossil on the spot and obtained a Mudskin Toad. Fang Yuan buys purple gold rocks and grinds them himself with Moonlight Gu’s blue light, rubbing the surface until rock powder falls away. Early pieces shrink from palm size to fist size and yield only solid rock with no Gu worm inside. Old Ancestor Xue Hu digs a palm-sized rock shining in purple-gold light from deep in Earth Trench, inside Northern Plains Zombie Alliance’s immortal zombie graveyard. Lady Wan Shou runs a refinement path Gu formation to temper that immortal material; the mysterious purple-gold rock turns completely red, then cools back to its previous state unchanged. She cannot refine it even at her formation’s limits, and calls it the first such case she has seen. ^{ch. 928}

Ying Wu Xie identifies the same purple gold rock in Lady Wan Shou’s immortal aperture as the piece Xue Hu took from the Zombie Alliance graveyard. Lady Wan Shou says she tried to refine it with no results; Ying Wu Xie answers that it is a special Shadow Sect method and that she needs the correct procedures. ^{ch. 1268}

On Snowy Mountain’s first peak, refining the purple gold rock immortal material reaches its final stage when enshrouding fragrance dissolves it. Lady Wan Shou sees that using immortal material to refine immortal material this way is rare, and that the essence of the method is food path. ^{ch. 1269}

Ying Wu Xie processes a purple gold rock in a refinement path Gu formation; the rock melts and miniman Gu Immortal Purple Mountain True Monarch wakes. Purple Mountain True Monarch hibernates again as a purple gold rock forms around his body, concealing aura and vitality like a dead object so he can be carried through regional walls. With the right method, Ying Wu Xie refines the thin layer far more easily than Lady Wan Shou’s earlier attempt. ^{ch. 1294}
