Yang San Mu

Southern Border immortals inside the formation grow nervous when he is trapped, then see Fang Yuan reappear alone. Other Southern Border immortals, echoing Xia Fan, call Yang San Mu’s investigative methods renowned in Southern Border and state that he once captured the demonic path Gu Immortal Nian Wang Huai. Fang Yuan had considered disguising as Yang San Mu to enter the formation, but after soul searching him he learned Southern Border’s arrangements and abandoned that plan. Fang Yuan judges Yang San Mu unlucky for having core Immortal Gu stolen twice in a row and for dying to great thief ghost hand as a normal person rather than a Dao Guardian. ^{ch. 1588}

Xia Fan says Lord Yang San Mu sacrificed himself heroically and that Southern Border’s righteous path has another debt of hatred with Fang Yuan. Other immortals pity him for leaving the formation and facing Fang Yuan alone. ^{ch. 1589}

Yang clan Gu Immortals later call Yang San Mu a rank seven expert whose loss came too quickly and was not normal, claiming someone leaked his information while blaming Chi clan. ^{ch. 1768}

Fang Yuan secretly brings Ying Wu Xie out of the stone lotus island and gives him Yang San Mu’s body, immortal aperture, soul path Gu worms, and modified soul path killer moves. ^{ch. 1778}
