Luo Bo Jun is Luo tribe's alliance leader in Northern Plains' Imperial Court contest. After repeated losses to Liu Wen Wu he surrenders his last defense line.
On a collapsing battlefield his higher ranked Gu Masters beg him to retreat. Addressed as Alliance leader Luo, he looks around, smiles bitterly, and says there is nowhere left to withdraw because this is already their last defense line. He recalls that since the fight with Liu Wen Wu began, none of their lines held more than three days, names the enemy far too strong, and chooses surrender. In the first battle he was heavily injured by Liu Wen Wu, Mo Shi Kuang, and others, and had not recovered. Luo tribe’s army kept losing until he lost the will to keep fighting. Because of poison vow his subordinates could not easily urge surrender themselves, so his own word settles it, and Liu tribe alliance takes its first win of that stretch. ch. 523

After he has joined Liu tribe’s side, Cunning Gentleman Sun Shi Han lists Liu Wen Wu, Luo Bo Jun, and Nie Ya Qing as rank five experts in Liu tribe’s fierce higher ranked strength during the Imperial Court struggle. ch. 527
Hei tribe service
When Hei Lou Lan and Ma tribe trade rank five fights, Hei Lou Lan sends Luo Bo Jun after Gu Guo Long has already taken the stage. Narration states he had previously sided with Liu Wen Wu, then became one of the higher-ups of Hei tribe army after Liu tribe lost to Hei tribe. Ma tribe sends a rank five expert to take him on. ch. 539
Golden leopard round
Inside Eighty-Eight True Yang Building, after Imperial Court blessed land is torn and the once-in-ten-years blizzard kills most mortals, Giant Sun’s will places blood-related descendants including Luo Bo Jun into the golden leopard round with Ye Lui Sang, Ma Ying Jie, Gu Guo Long, and other survivors. They remain kept in the dark about the larger truth while the round later turns on them. ch. 623
