Chapter 942

Blazing Heaven Demoness lets her rank eight aura go unconcealed and taunts Hei tribe’s four elders that their Green City Rampage is incomplete, since using it a hundred years ago forced them within three meters of each other. She asks who guards their base now that all four stand here together. ^{ch. 942}

An elderly voice from inside the green giant answers that Hei Lou Lan and Hei Cheng are Hei tribe’s own family matter, and warns her, as Zombie Alliance’s leader, to be careful. Another voice asks why she is not dealing with Old Ancestor Xue Hu instead. Blazing Heaven Demoness only laughs. ^{ch. 942}

Fairy Li Shan speaks up, asking whether their family matter is not hers and Blazing Heaven Demoness’s too, and the four elders demand to know what she means. Fang Yuan senses something is deeply wrong. Fairy Li Shan calls Blazing Heaven Demoness big sister, and Blazing Heaven Demoness stops laughing and flies at the giant. ^{ch. 942}

Blazing Heaven Demoness wraps the giant in an immortal killer move, Fire Prison, leaving it barely able to move. The four elders realize she struck it earlier with Angry Bird first, the two forming a combo immortal killer move whose fire path dao marks let Fire Prison trap them to incredible effect. Fang Yuan judges only a fire path great grandmaster could design such a combo, and that Blazing Heaven Demoness has reached that level. Green fog spewed from the giant puts out the fire before ten breaths pass. The elders have still lost precious time. ^{ch. 942}

Fairy Li Shan then unleashes her own trump card, Orchard Garden in Mountain, raising a chain of mountains over a thousand li that closes around the giant like a bowl. The effect is far stronger than in Fang Yuan’s previous life. He guesses correctly that the difference is Miniscule Mountain, a secluded domain of heaven and earth recorded in The Legends of Ren Zu that Fairy Li Shan has placed inside her own immortal aperture, its dao marks now her own foundation. Each use of the move permanently costs her own dao marks, which is why she rarely calls on this last resort, one that could drop her own cultivation if used too freely. The four elders are rank seven Gu Immortals and their formation ranked third in the world in its own age, yet Miniscule Mountain lets her temporarily trap their rank eight level giant. ^{ch. 942}

The elders try to fly the giant out on wings grown by one of them skilled in transformation path, but vines coil its legs. The elders answer with Dark Ember, a dark path and fire path dual killer move whose shockwaves burn the coiling vines to ash and shake the earth. Fairy Li Shan steps back. Hei Lou Lan seems not to notice, her eyes fixed only on her father Hei Cheng, still held inside the giant’s hand. ^{ch. 942}

Fang Yuan’s heart sinks: Fairy Li Shan, Hei Lou Lan, and Blazing Heaven Demoness are acting together, and today’s plot against Hei Cheng is aimed at him as well. He had not expected them to move against him first. Blazing Heaven Demoness gives him a look that seems to smile, and he looks away, in grave danger. ^{ch. 942}

Escape gains him little: Hei Lou Lan and Fairy Li Shan would only slow him, while Blazing Heaven Demoness, who surely knows of his Fixed Immortal Travel, blocks him outright. He decides against acting rashly. He realizes his Xing Xiang Zi identity must already be exposed, since Hei Lou Lan, astute enough to know of his star path cultivation, would also know he holds Star Form blessed land. ^{ch. 942}

Fang Yuan had taken Hei Lou Lan’s little aunt for simple affection. He had never guessed she came with an elder aunt too, one who would prove this formidable. ^{ch. 942}
