A Man Must Be Cool!

Fang Yuan keeps fighting on the front lines. Since Reckless Savage Demon Venerable’s method activated, a voice resounds in his ears that nobody else can detect. It says the three monsters were transformed from three immortal moves it created after reading Pursuing Freedom in The Legends of Ren Zu. The first, Thunder Rush Yellow Bird Transformation, uses attitude Gu as the core and teaches that one can still choose freely what attitude to face reality with. The second, Devouring Blue Leopard Transformation, uses mutation Gu as the core and teaches that freedom can make one better or worse. The third, Internal Breathing Green Fish Transformation, uses adaptation Gu as the core and teaches that adaptation is key. ch. 1956

The voice turns flippant and says he must be an otherworldly demon, since only one has hope of destroying fate Gu, so it made this true inheritance inheritable only by an otherworldly demon. He also needs at least one of attitude Gu, mutation Gu and adaptation Gu, which correspond to killer moves that trigger its own. Above Embroidered Tower he can then summon the monsters and use them as he pleases, best of all to destroy fate Gu. If he triggers all three, he can merge them into one super powerful move. It keeps his human form with the advantages of all three monsters and no weakness in any aspect. ch. 1956

The solemn voice cuts in and names it incomplete freedom transformation, with attitude, mutation and adaptation as its cores. It has numerous steps and is highly complicated, and failure means heavy injury at best or death in severe cases, so the voice asks him not to try lightly. The flippant voice takes over and says success brings strength to suppress all immemorial desolate plants and beasts, with quasi venerable battle strength. The most important part, the voice says, is that the three monsters combine into a bloody cape on his back, which is truly super cool. Fang Yuan is speechless. ch. 1956

Information flows into his mind, and he finds the moves not complex. Gu cultivation was crude in the Olden Antiquity Era, and his deep wisdom path attainment makes them easier still. He retreats and activates a killer move, and the three monsters turn into yellow, blue and green lights and enter his body. The lights merge into blood red light and condense into a large blood red cape on his back. Allies and enemies are shocked and say he seems to have inherited Reckless Savage true inheritance. ch. 1956

Inside Imperfection Regret Pavilion, the cape makes Star Constellation’s silhouette recall a man who charged into Heavenly Court a million years ago. He was Reckless Savage Demon Venerable, wearing an extremely wide cape sewn from the skins of the rank eight enemies he killed, a beastman custom he imitated in his youth. Halfway through Heavenly Court he stopped before Embroidered Tower, and Star Constellation’s will told him he could not destroy fate Gu. He knew, he said, and came to fight. Invincible as a venerable, he felt intense loneliness, having killed almost all the variant human rank eights, and only Heavenly Court was somewhat interesting. ch. 1956

Star Constellation’s will entered the tower and named it one of the methods her main body left behind. The battle ended quickly, with the tower almost on the verge of collapse after two or three moves. Reckless Savage Demon Venerable said he would not destroy it. He left his three bloody skins as an inheritance for whoever could inherit it, even someone from Heavenly Court, hoping the heir would destroy fate Gu. He warned that the skins were tied to Heavenly Court’s dao marks, so only someone with transformation path attainment rivaling his could dismantle them safely. ch. 1956

Her will suggested he become an Immortal Venerable and Lord of Heavenly Court to stay near fate Gu and find a way to destroy it. He refused at once, because Demon Venerable sounds much cooler than Immortal Venerable. Asked whether he made the cape to take revenge on the variant humans, he said that was a secondary reason and coolness was what mattered. He added that the three skins combine into one move shaped like a bloody cape, and a junior who wears it will be extremely cool beyond belief. He raised his arms, flexed his bulging muscles and praised himself, saying a man must be this cool. ch. 1956
