She also piles a huge stockpile of dragonfish into treasure yellow heaven, openly displaying her wealth, and treasure yellow heaven’s discussion is now all about her as the reasserted number one seller. Fang Yuan notices but stays silent for a long stretch. His business, only starting to take off, has taken a huge blow. Onlookers lose interest in the rivalry, but You Chan alone stays wary, a little worried that his inaction hides a plan rather than weakness. She weighs forcing him to react and settles on the steadier course, judging that at this rate his business will completely collapse in a few months. Fang Yuan judges his own foundation in the dragonfish business still weaker than hers, and decides that the longer the standoff drags on, the greater his eventual advantage. ch. 1476
Elsewhere, Fang Yuan’s soul foundation has reached eighty million man soul, where it should by now have reached a hundred million. During this period he has practiced the killer move split soul, which has often injured and lowered his soul, though the move itself grows more complete and he reworks its activation steps with the light of wisdom. He also practices other soul path killer moves, weaker than their original versions for lack of Immortal Gu. His focus turns to heavenly secret Immortal Gu. Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable first created it, and a split soul of Spectral Soul Demon Venerable, Old Man Yan Shi, later refined it. Unlike most Immortal Gu, heavenly secret has only a few killer moves: Old Man Yan Shi had not held it long, and Shadow Sect’s plans left him little time to create more. The most valuable, exposing heavenly secret, can predict the contents of heavenly tribulations and earthly calamities, and a prediction that succeeds lets its user put up defenses and greatly raises the success rate of the tribulation. Fang Yuan considers a business on it but gives that up rather than expose the Gu to Heavenly Court, his greatest enemy, which he has ten years to stop from repairing fate Gu completely. Instead he practices heaven’s will dissipation, a wisdom path killer move cored on heavenly secret Immortal Gu that targets heaven’s will and can remove it completely. Old Man Yan Shi created the move but never finished it, and many factors still stand between Fang Yuan and an actual success. Practicing the incomplete version cannot activate it, but it teaches Fang Yuan its profundity. Using the light of wisdom to make up for lower wisdom path attainment than Old Man Yan Shi, Fang Yuan completes the incomplete move within days and begins using it on Spring Autumn Cicada. ch. 1476
