Mushroommen

Purple Mountain True Monarch says the blessed land was modified by Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable, faces no calamities and tribulations, and that the Mushroomman blessed land has turned into the Mushroomman Paradise. Among paradises this one is special because Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable cultivated there before he became a venerable. A mushroomman Gu Immortal guards the melon cave, where the tribe grows chakra melons, and at Purple Mountain True Monarch’s demand brings Hei Lou Lan and Bai Ning Bing inside to train. ^{ch. 1338} Southern Border’s Mushroomman Paradise was made because Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable did not want to see the mushroommen slaughtered mercilessly. He left a true inheritance there, and Southern Border’s Gu Immortal Lu Wei Yin is called Paradise Earth’s inheritor on that basis. ^{ch. 2047} Lu Wei Yin says this Mushroomman blessed land received Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable’s help and turned into a paradise free from calamities and tribulations, and that because the Virtue true inheritance was left here, Mushroomman Paradise’s name became Virtue Paradise. Besides Lu Wei Yin, who cultivates earth path mainly, most of the Gu Immortals there are mushroommen and what they cultivate is poison path; a few human Gu Immortals cultivate wood path and water path. ^{ch. 2083}

There were ten variant human races in the Gu world: hairy men, rockmen, snowmen, feathermen, mermen, inkmen, eggmen, beastmen, miniman, and mushroommen. Each had their own specialty. Fang Yuan lists mushroommen among the races that would give him huge benefits if raised. ^{ch. 1489}

In Virtue Paradise, Fairy Zi Wei notices that mushroommen and humans live harmoniously in the villages: children play together, husbands and wives care for each other, and children are filial toward their parents. She treats that scene as the world Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable wanted, while holding that humanity is the ruler of the world and variant humans cannot be equal. ^{ch. 1693} Lu Wei Yin hands Mushroomman Paradise to Fang Yuan as property, to annex or to keep as Southern Border territory. The paradise has existed for over a hundred thousand years, and the countless mushroommen living there are the best mushroomman resource in the world. ^{ch. 2087} Almost all the mushroommen have moved over from Mushroomman Paradise, along with the resources accumulated there. ^{ch. 2142} Lu Wei Yin says that even though Mushroomman Paradise is still around, the mushroommen have all entered the sovereign immortal aperture already and are Fang Yuan’s hostages. ^{ch. 2217}
