Inside Lang Ya blessed land, after Fang Yuan suppresses Lang Ya land spirit and takes the Thieving Heaven true inheritance there, he unleashes the immortal killer move Steal Life with Steal Life Immortal Gu as the core. Lang Ya land spirit inside the formation fires the move for him with Long Hair’s immortal essence; a finger-thick red light hits Thunder Ghost True Monarch’s forehead, she ages to death in moments, and her lifespan is fully consumed. Fang Yuan notes that bare use of Steal Life Immortal Gu does not distinguish ally from enemy, while this killer move he deduced targets only the enemy. Steal Life Immortal Gu steals lifespan-related dao marks and shortens a person’s life. Thieving Heaven’s will states that normal use steals others’ lifespan, that the killer move he created can raise the user’s own lifespan (inferior to lifespan Gu), and that reverse use gives the user’s lifespan to another target. ch. 1782 That own-lifespan killer move is not the enemy-targeting Steal Life Fang Yuan deduced at Lang Ya. ch. 1759 ch. 1782
Against Duke Long
Fighting Duke Long, Fang Yuan closes in and lands Steal Life; Duke Long freezes briefly and asks how the move is in his hands. ch. 1836 Nothing lasting happens to Duke Long. He explains that heavenly dragon’s last stand makes his lifespan dwindle as his strength rises, blocks ordinary lifespan extension methods, and that Steal Life only influences lifespan dao marks, which may be why it failed.
