Myriad Self Second Style is Fang Yuan's immortal killer move built on Myriad Self. He creates it inside Reverse Flow River while under siege by rank eight existences.
As Reverse Flow River Lord with Perseverance Gu, Fang Yuan finds he can use other Immortal Gu inside Reverse Flow River, while Pulling Water alone moves the river too slowly to escape. He treats Perseverance and Pulling Water as the basis of an immortal killer move, then adds water path Gu and looks to Myriad Self for the missing strength. Water path and strength path grandmaster attainment let him compile it on the spot, and he also draws on Ye Lui Qun Xing’s external-force style of using star fragments. Practising the cores
Because he used the Myriad Self killer move as the foundation, Fang Yuan names this move Myriad Self Second Style, though at first creation it is far from usable. The first core is rank seven Perseverance Immortal Gu, and the second core is rank six strength path Immortal Gu Pulling Water. Water path mortal Gu form a bridge between those Immortal Gu; early trials fail when conflicting water path mortal Gu clash or when Pulling Water will not integrate until the mortal Gu mix is adjusted. ch. 1288
Successful activation
When the move finally activates, it is Immortal killer move Myriad Self Second Style, Reverse Flow Protection Seal. Reverse Flow River shrinks into a light blue white robe with flowing water and an azure sash around Fang Yuan. The seal blocks then reflects attacks: Old Ancestor Xue Hu’s icy light returns on its creator, and Mao Li Qiu’s claw strike injures the beast while Fang Yuan stays intact. Fang Yuan himself notes that this Myriad Self Second Style involves too many Gu worms of different types, so it stays complex and hard to refine into a concise version without years of deduction or higher attainment. ch. 1289
