Exposing Heavenly Secret

Heavenly Secret was created by Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable and obtained by Old Man Yan Shi, who created this immortal killer move with it. The move can predict the contents of the following calamity or tribulation. Fang Yuan expects that if Lang Ya Sect can refine heavenly secret Immortal Gu, he will be able to use the move and it will help him tremendously in undergoing tribulations. ^{ch. 1462}

After Fang Yuan refines heavenly secret Immortal Gu again, he notes that unlike other Immortal Gu there are only a few immortal killer moves for it, because Old Man Yan Shi had not held it long and Shadow Sect plans left him little time to create more. The most valuable of those moves is Exposing Heavenly Secret, which can predict the contents of heavenly tribulations and earthly calamities, so a successful prediction lets the user put up defenses and raises the success rate of the tribulation. For a short period he does not urgently practise it, because earthly calamities and heavenly tribulations are no longer problems for him, and at rank seven only grand tribulations are risky, and he is far from one. ^{ch. 1476}

Among the killer moves Fang Yuan practises, this wisdom path killer move is the most important. It uses heavenly secret Immortal Gu as the core to deduce the contents of the following tribulation, with a limit: he cannot yet deduce the content of his next grand tribulation and must wait. It also lets him learn about the thinking of heaven’s will. He treats grand tribulations as no fear while he has heavenly secret Gu and this move. ^{ch. 1482}

When an earthly calamity is due, earthly calamities and heavenly tribulations are not a problem for him, especially with this move: heavenly secret Immortal Gu as the core with supplementary Gu worms lets him deduce the contents of upcoming calamities and tribulations. Before the earthly calamity even forms, he already knows what it is, and it forms as he predicted. ^{ch. 1599}

Putting aside heavenly tribulations and earthly calamities, rank seven needs three grand tribulations to advance to rank eight, and those three grow stronger in turn. Fang Yuan is close to the third, and even if heaven’s will strengthens it to the greatest limits, he already holds firm initiative with this killer move. ^{ch. 1617}

He activates the move on his pure dream clone; it uses heavenly secret Immortal Gu as its core and can observe the contents of the following calamities and tribulations of the target, but the result is blank and the move shows no effect. He considers whether that is because of the clone’s characteristics or because the move cannot yet target dream path calamities and tribulations. ^{ch. 1798}

To hasten the dragonman clone’s cultivation, Fang Yuan uses a time path killer move to push that aperture’s rate of time to the limit, and before each calamity and tribulation he deduces the details. He has time path methods, and more importantly this move, which makes the calamities and tribulations sent by heaven’s will ineffective; with his robust strength they are impotent. It is also not a killer move that ordinary wisdom path Gu Immortals can activate. ^{ch. 1810}

The move that Fang Yuan obtained from Shadow Sect can precisely deduce the content of the following tribulation. With heavenly secret Immortal Gu as the core, it targets the root source, the heaven path dao marks, so each deduction is extremely precise about the content. During that myriad tribulation he has this method among others, but cannot use them then. ^{ch. 2042}

When heaven’s will changes the myriad tribulation and his previous countermeasure fails, each transformation is still an opportunity because this move lets him accurately predict what the next tribulation is, even if he cannot prepare amply. Once tribulations are known beforehand, their threat falls by many times, though a predicted myriad tribulation is still a myriad tribulation. ^{ch. 2048}
