Eggmen

Red eggmen encircle Fang Yuan and keep attacking. They call him a devil, treat him as a fool for not moving, and cheer when he seems about to die. A formless energy then sweeps him away, and he vanishes from the encirclement, leaving the eggmen shocked. ^{ch. 377} During the killing across the blessed land, Gu Masters shout to kill eggmen who occupy one spirit spring, calling that occupation a waste of resources. There are also green eggmen. Hu Mei Er faces green eggmen in huge numbers who have built structures and castles she cannot break through. A green egg empress is inside; she says that capturing her would mean endless fortune. Mo Wu Tian looks at the castle and says that King Bao, Wang Ba Dan, had eight egg empresses and produced numerous eggmen. Hu Mei Er then abandons the green egg empress to recruit demonic Gu Masters with him. ^{ch. 391}

Spring egg Gu is a rank five Gu with the appearance of a white goose egg, obtained from killing specific eggmen. Placing it deep underground can form a spirit spring eye, and each such Gu stands for a small scale spirit spring. A small scale spirit spring can yield at least a hundred million primeval stones from formation until it disappears, yet this Gu’s price sits much higher, and Gu Immortals still buy it to plant inside a blessed land so living beings there gain spiritual essence. ^{ch. 421} Spring egg Gu can also be obtained by killing a strong eggman emperor. Placing it deep underground gives birth to a new spirit spring. Large tribes and clans collect the Gu to strengthen their foundation, and Gu Immortals often buy them to plant inside a blessed land, forming a spirit spring that nourishes the inhabitants. ^{ch. 558} Egg crystal rock is the life essence of eggmen after death. White crane sea area held a lot of it, showing that a huge group of eggmen had lived there long ago. ^{ch. 1487}

Variant humans are more intelligent than other lifeforms and still far from human wisdom. In that comparison, eggmen are innocent. ^{ch. 424} Star Form land spirit tosses large numbers of variant humans into poisonous blood for a Gu refinement. The toss includes eggmen among hairy men, rockmen, snowmen, inkmen, feathermen, and mermen. ^{ch. 861} There were ten variant human races in the Gu world. Eggmen are named in that list with hairy men, rockmen, snowmen, feathermen, mermen, inkmen, beastmen, miniman, and mushroommen. Fang Yuan, choosing a type to raise, lists eggmen among those that would give him huge benefits. ^{ch. 1489} Eggmen are the most suitable for managing volcanoes. Fang Yuan had no intention of bringing them in then; developing the variant human groups he already had was enough. ^{ch. 1773} In an icy grotto-heaven, an unnamed eggman is one of three rank eight variant humans present with Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch, the others a rockman and a hairy man. After humans dominated the world, variant humans could not live in the five regions and were chased into the peripheries; black and white heaven became their foundation. ^{ch. 1969}

Rotten Egg grotto-heaven sent six eggman Gu Immortals who could form the ancient battle formation Rotting Smell Vicious Cloud, among reinforcements Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch met while traveling in immemorial black heaven. ^{ch. 1994} The six eggman Gu Immortals from Rotten Egg grotto-heaven formed Rotting Smell Vicious Cloud and trapped Nie Kuang Feng for a time, then could not hold as he broke out from within. They spat out blood; they were either dead or injured. ^{ch. 2165}
