Great Era

How speakers define the coming great era before it arrives.

Duke Long tells Di Zang Sheng that the great era is coming. Di Zang Sheng answers by guessing that the earth veins will merge, the regional walls will vanish, and the five regions will become one. Ying Wu Xie later states the same three changes and adds that Great Dream becomes venerable, and calls that set the great era. Purple Mountain True Monarch says Shadow Sect can no longer stop it and that the great era is coming. ^{ch. 1301}

In Heavenly Court, Fang Yuan destroys fate Gu. Under everybody’s vision, the five regions see the fragments of the destroyed fate Gu. ^{ch. 1961} The Destroying Fate arc covers that stretch.

Regional walls gone, earth veins linked, five regions merged, and the age named as arrived.

The chapter itself is titled Great Era. The regional walls that separated the five regions completely disappear. The earth veins connect, and the five separate regions merge into one. Without those walls, people can move freely through the five regions, and the differences in heaven and earth qi begin to disappear gradually. Fang Yuan names the change as the arrival of the great era. ^{ch. 1966} The Great Era and Spectral Soul arc opens on that chapter.

Post-war travel and the five regions’ qi fusing.

With the five regional walls gone, the five regions’ heaven and earth qi have no obstruction and start to fuse. The five regions are unified, and forces across the five regions and two heavens prepare for coming battles. ^{ch. 1973} After the walls vanish, even a black heaven Gu Immortal can travel through the five regions where crossing had been hard before. ^{ch. 1975}
