Space Door is the door into space cave, the space path secluded domain that connects the five regions. Where there is space, there is a door into that cave.
The Legends of Ren Zu first depicts space cave as a forbidden ground on the same level as the River of Time. The cave holds countless space path Gu worms and connects the five regions from a hidden place. Pushing open a door from inside space cave reaches any place in the world. That connecting door is also known as the space door. Space door is omnipresent: it may sit in a narrow crack or in boundless sky, and wherever there is space there is a door into space cave. From past until Fang Yuan’s era, very few people find space cave, let alone enter it; human history records only one person who entered and exited. Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable spent his life seeking what narration calls the rumored legendary space cave, and designed moving perspective cup Gu to send into it and bring out wild Gu; he failed at that goal while the cup pair swaps through the omnipresent cave. ch. 434
Rescue path in Ren Zu
Cognition Gu’s first rescue for Ren Zu is to enter space cave, open the space door, move to Ren Zu’s side, and escape life and death door through the cave, saving only the soul, not true resurrection. Desolate Ancient Moon already knows space cave exists but not how to find it. ch. 435
Long Hair Ancestor’s failed refinement
All his life Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable wants to enter the space door, and he has Long Hair Ancestor refine Space Escape Gu so a Gu Master can enter it. After twenty one years the Gu is refined and usable, yet it cannot enter the Space Door no matter what he does, becoming Long Hair Ancestor’s only failure. ch. 461

Thieving Heaven’s search
About three hundred thousand years ago in Crazed Demon Cave’s eighth layer, Limitless Demon Venerable’s will tells Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable to stop, saying the Space Door he seeks is not there. ch. 2170 Thieving Heaven still presses to check the ninth layer and leaves disappointed when Space Door is absent, calling it his only hope of returning home. Even as a venerable he cannot find Space Door, and he fears both failure to find it and the chance that finding it would prove useless. ch. 2171
