Super Good Person
Feng Jiang, a rank six Gu Immortal and follower of Miao Ming Shen, fights swarms of red thread earthworms inside beehive island, a sea island shaped like a dark yellow hive. His mid-sized mission is to quell the calamity so the island’s ecology can recover. Attacking without restraint would kill every worm, but it would heavily damage the island and earn few merit points. He flies out of the hive. The worms pursue him, then return and dig their own tunnels through the walls, which damages the island further. ch. 1900
Fighting inside the narrowing passages would be very disadvantageous and might destroy the island, so Feng Jiang summons rank five wild bees from his immortal aperture, led by a desolate beast yellow gyro bee. Yellow gyro bees are his core group, since they live with other wild bees, reproduce and help those bees multiply. Only three are desolate beast level, and sending a large group is a huge risk. They burrow into the hive, and with the island’s own bees they attack the worms in its lower part. Cracks spread over the island, and he repairs it while the bees fight. ch. 1900
The sole desolate beast red thread earthworm retreats and leads millions of worms into the sea as a huge red current. Feng Jiang does not chase them, since many sea beasts hide in that water, and spends a day and a night repairing the island. He reinforces its weaknesses, releases bees from his aperture and plants special flowers, so beehive island becomes completely revitalized, a mid-sized resource point. He wants to keep it, but Paradise Earth restricts that on a merit mission. Back at the Merit Obelisk he has gained over eighty points, not a hundred, and concludes he erred by ignoring the surrounding sea. ch. 1900
Days earlier Fang Yuan had explained the good person title to Miao Ming Shen and his allies, so Feng Jiang exchanged for it and could take mid-sized missions. He is unhappy, not fully understanding the requirements and having lost his yellow gyro bees for good. Still the trade is definitely worth it, since points can buy an Immortal Gu once he has ten thousand or more, which he could never otherwise obtain. Many board missions are beyond him, such as repairing an immortal formation. He understands why Fang Yuan kept the title secret, yet finds the points of Chu Ying, as he knows Fang Yuan, rising too fast. ch. 1900
Fang Yuan appears beside him in a flash of white light, his points risen from the bottom to the top three. Feng Jiang is stunned by a gain of five hundred at once. Fang Yuan explains that he spent a thousand points on the really good person title for better missions, and Feng Jiang bows deeply in thanks. Fang Yuan then exchanges for a third title, super good person, and his points fall by five hundred to last place. Feng Jiang does not ask, certain it is something extremely useful. ch. 1900
When Miao Ming Shen and the rest return, Feng Jiang tells them the really good person secret. Miao Ming Shen sees that the titles form a series others can work out, yet he is very grateful, since Fang Yuan told them while Shen clan and Ren Xiu Ping kept it hidden. Fang Yuan lies that he can get far from Shen Cong Sheng when they teleport outside, and when Gui Qi Ye asks if it is a Merit Obelisk reward he agrees. They believe him. Chu Ying’s fearless attitude toward Shen Cong Sheng would be courting death without some assurance. ch. 1900
Fang Yuan says he can take large sized missions but cannot complete them alone, and shares one with them. They are shocked, though in the previous life Miao Ming Shen discovered that the super good person title lets one share missions. Fang Yuan can share but cannot force anyone to accept. Mid-sized missions are hard alone for Gu Immortals, and help that speeds them is worth the split merit points. Miao Ming Shen, who has just finished a mid-sized mission himself, accepts after a short while. Fang Yuan cultivates every path while Miao Ming Shen’s group cultivate one each, and with mid-sized missions hard and costly, Miao Ming Shen would rather join him. ch. 1900
