Shen Cong Sheng demands to know where they are and attacks Miao Ming Shen, but his killer move vanishes and the backlash makes his nose bleed. Shen Tan warns that this place seems to forbid fighting, so any killer move or Gu activation fails while healing is not obstructed. Shen Cong Sheng scolds him for not saying so earlier. Ren Xiu Ping warns that nobody can resist Shen Cong Sheng once they leave, and that Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable’s arrangements may have loopholes. In a dense forest, Immortal Hua Die notes that the leaves have empty heart shaped spaces, and a tree Feng Jiang touches collapses into wood dust. Shen Cong Sheng identifies them as cloud ladder trees, rank seven immortal plants. Gui Qi Ye mocks him, saying a cloud ladder tree, dense in wood and cloud path dao marks, grows ten inches, one ladder step, per century, so trees this tall would be ten thousand years old. Shen Cong Sheng explains that the leaves of ten thousand year old cloud ladder trees form the rank eight immortal material cloud ladder leaf heart, and once all are taken the tree collapses into wood dust. He finds that every tree he touches turns to wood dust, concludes the leaf hearts were taken, and orders a search for any left, but the immortals find none. Zeng Luo Zi says an entire field of them was once planted there, since fist sized holes with smooth round walls are the effect of their roots. Immortal Hua Die says they are inside the blue dragon whale, where a Paradise Earth true inheritance lies. Shen Cong Sheng points out that someone is missing from Miao Ming Shen’s side. Feng Jiang names Chu Ying. Someone notes Chu Ying died really early, and the immortals suspect he woke first and took every immortal material. ^{ch. 1890}

Shen Cong Sheng advances and Miao Ming Shen follows. The immortals reach a huge pit tens of li wide and hundreds of feet deep. Tu Tou Tuo picks up fragments in it and identifies the rank seven immortal material rooster iron. Shen Cong Sheng says rooster iron exists only in open air mines, and wind over so wide a span would resonate to produce the rank eight immortal material heavenly white snow iron.
