Wooden Statue Murder is Qiao Zhi Cai's signature immortal killer move.
After Wu Yuan Ju and Rong Hao die, Wu Yong goes out himself and is stunned when he sees their corpses. He names wooden statue murder and Qiao Zhi Cai. Qiao Zhi Cai, Qiao clan’s first supreme elder, rushes to the scene. If an ordinary Gu Immortal is hit by this move, their soul crumbles and disperses, they lose their life, their body turns into wood, and the remaining life force can be used to grow trees. Qiao Zhi Cai denies doing it and says someone is trying to frame him. Wu Yong is willing to trust him and invites Tie clan’s Tie Mian Shen. ch. 1339

After seeing the two corpses, Tie Mian Shen declares that it was not Qiao Zhi Cai. Someone mimicked the move, which has been seen before in history. Wu Yong takes that to mean an inheritor of the Seven Illusions true inheritance, said to have a method to mimic almost any method used by Gu Immortals. Tie Mian Shen used Tie clan methods devised to locate such an inheritor and differentiate their methods, and he says this was undoubtedly a Seven Illusions Demon Immortal. ch. 1340
