It is an area of void. The surroundings are pure darkness with neither heaven nor earth, and distant green or red starlights shine far away. An ordinary true inheritance appears as a bowl-sized lump of red starlight floating silently. ch. 597

After combining owner tokens into a ten-edge token, Fang Yuan vanishes and arrives in pure darkness with neither heaven nor earth, floating while distant green or red starlights shine far off. Mo Yao’s will names the place Eighty-Eight True Yang Building’s true inheritance secluded domain and says a ten-edge token only unlocks the lowest grade ordinary true inheritance. A bowl-sized red starlight lump is an ordinary true inheritance; consciousness can enter it to read the contents. ch. 597
Who reaches it
Mo Yao notes that few Imperial Court contest winners ever reach ten-edges, yet across many years some still entered this domain and took inheritances, so fewer than the fifty-three she once saw remain. She calls the secluded domain extremely huge, with inheritances moving and only a few unparalleled true inheritances among them. ch. 599
Motion and primeval energy
Contact with true inheritances, or long stays, makes the lights move faster until they fly like meteors and can kill a Gu Master who cannot dodge.
