Rock crocodile strength is the upgrade Fang Yuan makes of his crocodile strength, on the same night as thunder boar strength.
Right after his boar phantom becomes a lightning boar phantom, Fang Yuan says that rock crocodile strength is next. When dawn reaches San Cha mountain he has upgraded boar strength and crocodile strength to thunder boar strength and rock crocodile strength, and his battle strength is up by at least thirty percent. The chapter does not describe the crocodile upgrade step by step. ch. 353
Phantom in the pursuit
During the chase of Tie Ba Xiu, the thunder boar and rock crocodile phantoms appear only now and then, and those two can threaten Tie Ruo Nan. Near the end of the chase a rock crocodile phantom falls with an explosive sound. It sends Tie Ba Xiu rolling on the ground. ch. 363
Tail and teeth
Against Century Boy, the rock crocodile phantom is tough, and it uses its tail like a steel whip and its teeth like razors. It fights beside the thunder boar and kunlun bull phantoms, and all three appear at once late in the fight. The narration calls these three rank four phantoms and says Fang Yuan’s rank three all-out effort Gu cannot summon them at will. The text does not state a rank for rock crocodile strength itself. ch. 368
Phantom in the inheritance
Sent by the land spirit to stand before Tie Mu Bai, Fang Yuan waves a hand and luckily summons a rock crocodile phantom. Its tail smacks Tie Mu Bai’s head, and the head explodes like a watermelon. Tie Mu Bai is dead. ch. 378
