Under Immortal Crane Sect rules, a recovered Hu Immortal blessed land would become a public blessed land of the sect, with only limited operating time for whoever holds the managing right, though that right remains lucrative because Dang Hun Mountain sits at the center. ch. 700
Mixed dao marks
Jade Pool blessed land is a public blessed land. It has many dao marks, but they are very mixed. Dong Fang Chang Fan cannot mobilize all of them; he can only control the part of the blessed land he contributed, so its power is limited. Tai Bai Yun Sheng states the general rule: public blessed lands have weak defenses because numerous Gu Immortals sacrifice portions of their blessed lands and piece them together. The mixed dao mark varieties cancel each other and cannot form cohesive strength, like five people each offering one finger instead of forming a fist. ch. 821
Assembled headquarters
Iron Eagle blessed land is Hei tribe headquarters and a public blessed land. Huang Di can attack it because it was assembled together and does not have the defense of a normal blessed land. ch. 1105 Snowy Mountain blessed land is likewise a public blessed land pieced together, with defense that cannot compare to a normal blessed land, though a super Gu formation covers it. ch. 1251
