The five regional formation is the formation-path essence of Tao Zhu's five regional true inheritance, and setting it up needs an earth vein.
Wu Yong tells Fang Yuan that he obtained the five regional true inheritance. Chi Qu You adds that the method uses the earth veins to set up the formation and is very troublesome and complicated. Tao Zhu was able to make Five Regional Mountain Range because he used the earth vein and a formation. After Fang Yuan left that battlefield, Wu Yong obtained the inheritance. Wu clan was not proficient in formation path, so Wu Yong worked with Chi Qu You, who also learned that profundity. Fang Yuan had already deduced that the inheritance could mimic the five regions’ regional walls, so Gu Immortals inside would be suppressed and would face backlash when they used immortal killer moves. Immortal Gu Houses and immortal formations are immortal killer moves in essence. Chi Qu You has already obtained earth vein Immortal Gu through a transaction with Hou clan, but using that Gu in place of an actual earth vein requires modifying the five regional formation. Five colored smoke
The five regional formation constantly spreads five colored smoke under Chi Qu You’s control. The smoke becomes increasingly transparent as it invades nine-nine consecutive unceasing formation. Fang Yuan mentally notes that if Formation Spirit and formation flag Immortal Gu had taken part, the formation could be mobile instead of fixed in one place. Adding those Gu would have increased the deductions sharply. When Chen Yi dispels a sub-formation, the five regional formation inside is exposed. Tao Zhu naming
After Fang Yuan obtains the entirety of Tao Zhu’s true inheritance, he confirms that the formation created with Southern Border and Northern Plains Gu Immortals was that inheritance’s essence. In the true inheritance, Tao Zhu named the formation Five Regional Limit Formation. The phrase five regional true inheritance names the sealed inheritance package itself, not this formation alone; battlefield talk of the five regional formation is the same method under a shorter label before that formal title is read from the inheritance. Five Regional Limit Formation and five restriction profound light qi are the essence of the true inheritance. Both use rank eight Region and rank seven Limit as cores with a vast number of supplementary mortal Gu. The formation must be set up on the ground and rooted to an earth vein.
