Yao clan sends Yao Geng to contest Wu Yi Ran of Wu clan over the remains of Stunning Immortal’s inheritance; they fight four times to two wins and two losses each before a decisive fifth match. After that match Wu Yi Ran and Yao Geng both go missing, their life tablet Gu and soul lantern Gu report them dead, and blood tide pit then erupts in a huge blood tide, where Wu clan’s investigators find the traces of collapsing art, an immortal killer move Yao Geng created himself. ch. 1338
Unmasking as the Seven Illusions Demon Immortal
Near Yi Tian Mountain, Clear Jade Dripping Wind Tiny Bamboo Building traps a rainbow-cloaked Seven Illusions Demon Immortal, and stripping the light away exposes Yao clan Gu Immortal Yao Geng alive; his shattered life tablet Gu was the only reason Yao clan believed him dead after the fifth match. Yao Geng says he acted as a lone pawn rather than for his clan, compelled by the Seven Illusions true inheritance’s alliance agreement, and that he knows no more about the rank eight Gu Immortal who manipulated him than his captors do. Wu Yong immobilizes him inside the Immortal Gu House, and Tie Mian Shen names him the first known Seven Illusions inheritor forced to carry out the inheritance’s alliance agreement. Wu Yong later calls him a rank seven member of a righteous path super force, worried that a rank eight manipulator could infiltrate one so easily. ch. 1355
