Shi Shi Cheng

He respectfully guides Fang Yuan into the tribe’s sacred land Earth Mother Altar and introduces the statues of Shi Mu, the twenty-seventh first supreme elder, and Shi Mu’s wife Lady Earth Mother, a human Gu Immortal. He explains that tribulations on the northern icy plain consume earth qi and shrink the land rockmen can live on, which is why the tribes fought Fang Yuan earlier. When Snowy Mountain blessed land lights soar, he reports that Old Ancestor Xue Hu has begun refining fortune rivalling heaven Gu. ^{ch. 1144} He and Xue Er both believe Fang Yuan’s words about not interfering, and he says that if other human Gu Immortals were as understanding as Fang Yuan, the world would be much better. ^{ch. 1145}

After Fang Yuan moves rockmen into the sovereign immortal aperture, Shi Shi Cheng stays as leader of the rockman tribe, similar to Xue Er and Mo Tan Sang for their peoples. Fang Yuan recalls that Shi Shi Cheng once fought him and that immortal battlefield grey cloud rock puppet left a deep impression. Shi Shi Cheng sets up a fire path formation from Fang Yuan’s chart, then carefully voices other rockman Gu Immortals’ wish that Fang Yuan stop taking risks. Fang Yuan gifts Fire Bird Mountain as a rockman resource point and separates Shi Shi Cheng politically from the other rockman Gu Immortals. ^{ch. 1773}

Fang Yuan brings him to Dang Hun Mountain while collecting guts Gu so Shi Shi Cheng will see a bright future for the rockman tribe and stay loyal. Shi Shi Cheng controls the formation there and is shocked by Fang Yuan’s soul cultivation speed. ^{ch. 1792} Fang Yuan values him to lead rockmen in Mini Southern Border; Shi Shi Cheng builds a stone mushroom field, then reports ruin and seeks recycling advice when the mushrooms fail. ^{ch. 1993} Fang Yuan also nurtures him with Xue Er and Mo Tan Sang toward leading their variant human tribes, while still judging their cultivation too weak for some front-line tasks. ^{ch. 2038}
