Jiang Bao Ya

Fang Yuan later ranks Ma Zun, Yang Po Ying, and Jiang Bao Ya as enslavement path masters whose beast groups hold at least four hundred thousand beasts, and names Jiang Bao Ya’s prime group at over six hundred and fifty thousand. ^{ch. 491} Separate talk names Jiang Bao Ya’s mountain drilling rat group beside other famous beast groups. ^{ch. 492}

At Meng Qiu, Nu Er Tu’s leopard group fights that rat group. Jiang Bao Ya is already publicly called one of northern plains’ enslavement path masters. His rats number six hundred and fifty thousand when Nu Er Tu mocks the scale, and Jiang Bao Ya answers with the enslavement path killer move Rat Epidemic: hundreds of thousands of rats self-destruct, yellow poison gas sickens the leopards, and his remaining rats move through the gas unharmed before Nu Er Tu’s Leopard Dash breaks out. ^{ch. 523} Jiang Bao Ya escapes with his life. The remnant army falls below three hundred thousand rats, yet over ten forces still send invitation letters. ^{ch. 525}

Northern plains talk then names five great enslavement masters the five beast kings: Horse King Ma Zun with mutated pegasus, Eagle King Yang Po Ying with mutated thunder eagles, Rat King Jiang Bao Ya with mutated mountain drilling rats, Leopard King Nu Er Tu with glimpse leopards, and Wolf King Chang Shan Yin without a mutated beast group. ^{ch. 527} Battle reports next say Rat King Jiang Bao Ya has accepted Yang tribe’s invitation and entered Yang tribe’s alliance. ^{ch. 529} After that recruitment Yang tribe’s strength surges, and by the late contest clearing Yang tribe is listed with Rat King and Eagle King among the leading armies. ^{ch. 536}

When Ma tribe absorbs Yang tribe and other forces, it also gains Jiang Bao Ya and Yang Po Ying beside Ma Zun, giving it three enslavement path masters. Horse King, Rat King, and Eagle King then move their beast groups together against Hei tribe. ^{ch. 539} Facing Fang Yuan’s revealed wolf sea, Jiang Bao Ya estimates at least a million wolves, says his rats peaked at six hundred thousand and now hold fewer than two hundred thousand, and turns to run with that foundation. Narration states he is a demonic cultivator and extremely selfish. ^{ch. 540}

After Ma Zun dies, Ma Shang Feng still looks to Rat King as the only hope against the wolf group, then sees Jiang Bao Ya already fleeing. Blood flows from Jiang Bao Ya’s seven facial orifices under poison vow backlash for deserting Ma tribe’s army, yet he keeps running while Ma Shang Feng shouts for him to return. ^{ch. 543}
