Chapter 929

After Old Ancestor Xue Hu’s raid, Dragon Commander Ye Cha and the other two leaders had closed Dark Flow Giant City entirely, keeping a defensive stance. At night, Blazing Heaven Demoness leads the Eastern Sea immortal zombies back inside. Blazing Heaven Demoness has no record of this person. Headquarters has ordered his rescue as a top priority. Dragon Commander Ye Cha asks what secret mission required him at their own graveyard. Fang Yuan privately suspects the truth is closer to espionage: that headquarters planted this immortal zombie to watch the Northern Plains branch itself. The rescue, he realizes, matters to Zombie Alliance more than the punishment. Caught off guard at being kept in the dark, Blazing Heaven Demoness hides her displeasure and reclaims the lead. Blazing Heaven Demoness points to the spies already watching Dark Flow Giant City as proof the blessed land is too heavily guarded. She dares him to try it alone if he is so confident, leaving him humiliated and silent. Surprised by such favorable terms, Fang Yuan guesses that Blazing Heaven Demoness may want his wisdom path deductions turned against Old Ancestor Xue Hu.
