The hands strike as fast and nimbly as Flash Bug Gu. Hei Lou Lan, recalling that tribe records may hold information on them, is grabbed by a four fingered hand before he can dodge and cannot budge for a moment. The hand feels harmless, like wind brushing his skin, but he instantly loses connection to a rank four Gu he needs for his strength path killer move. ch. 630
Hei Lou Lan roars and lets loose rank five Fixed Sound Gu, a formless soundwave that chases the four fingered hand and locks it in place like an iron chain. He vows to destroy it, whatever it is. Turning into a strength path giant phantom again, he grabs the hand in a house sized fist and clenches until it shatters like glass and melts away like ice, letting him recover the seized Gu worm. Joy is short lived: five more formless hands appear behind him, and though he turns and strikes with everything he has, wind erupting and soundwaves bursting like thunder, the blow passes through them like the moon’s reflection in water. The hands grab specific parts of his giant phantom instead, paralyzing him until it collapses with a loud crash, his killer move broken. ch. 630
Hei Lou Lan spits blood as his vital Gu, the core of that killer move, is seized along with four other crucial Gu worms. Worst of all, two Immortal Gu go with them: False Emotion Fake Will Gu and Wooden Chicken Gu. Shouting for the hands to stop, he throws himself into chasing them with everything he has, Fang Yuan forgotten entirely. The hands keep seizing Gu worms everywhere. Outside, the curled remnant of Giant Sun’s will resolves that it cannot let Eighty-Eight True Yang Building perish. Formless hands cannot be attacked while their palms are open. Only a fist clenched around a captured Gu worm can be destroyed. It reasons that protecting the several rank eight core Gu worms would let it rebuild the tower, given enough time. The vast building, unable to resist, is stripped bare as the hands fly in, seize Gu worms and fly off, its complete destruction drawing steadily nearer. ch. 630
Inside Tai Bai Yun Sheng’s immortal aperture, all is tranquil, and Fang Yuan waits a while before carefully transferring his second vital Gu. All-out Effort Gu is beetle shaped, brown and metallic, with an oval body, an arching carapace, a horned head and three pairs of strong legs. He obtained it in Southern Border.
