Chapter 1982

Xia Zheng Qing, a Xia clan Gu Immortal, guards the reflecting shadow sea area of Eastern Sea, a giant resource point. Alarms ring in his formation. He flies out expecting sea beasts but finds enemies. Three rank seven Gu Immortals charge him, and a rank eight hairy man with a huge hammer shatters his defensive formation. Xia Zheng Qing spits blood and teleports away by the inner immortal formation after warning the clan. ^{ch. 1982}

He lands a thousand li away, where Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch and Great Wisdom Immortal Mother have waited for him. She says she could deduce his landing place only because of Lord Alliance Leader’s precise information. Seeing that both are variant human rank eights, he despairs. Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch unleashes a killer move, and the rank seven is instantly frozen in ice. ^{ch. 1982}

At Hot Springs blessed land, the clan headquarters, Xia clan’s Gu Immortals learn that reflecting shadow sea is lost. Light ripple sea and shooting fish sea fall next. The furious Gu Immortals demand that both Immortal Gu Houses go out, but first supreme elder Xia Rui Zhi refuses, since the clan has no rank eight and is close to completing Human Sea. He advises that the clan defend itself fully until then, because its foundation will afterwards rise greatly, and the others accept. ^{ch. 1982}

Then an Immortal Gu House breaks into Xia clan’s public blessed land, and Wu Shuai appears with the other grotto-heaven Gu Immortals. Seeing Dragon Palace and so many variant human rank eights, Xia clan’s Gu Immortals are immensely fearful. Wu Shuai orders the attack, and his more than ten rank eights completely overwhelm a clan with none. Xia Ying calls a retreat. Xia Rui Zhi orders everyone into the two rank seven Immortal Gu Houses, Whale Fishing Boat and Golden Star Tower. ^{ch. 1982}
