When Wu Shuai’s force breaks into Xia clan’s public blessed land, Xia Rui Zhi orders the clan into the Immortal Gu Houses. Xia clan has two rank seven Immortal Gu Houses, Whale Fishing Boat and Golden Star Tower. Xia Ying steers Golden Star Tower to block the attackers, and the remaining Xia clan Gu Immortals enter Whale Fishing Boat and escape their headquarters. ch. 1982

Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch urges Wu Shuai’s allies to chase the remaining Xia clan members, saying most of Xia clan’s Gu Immortals escaped using Whale Fishing Boat. When Fang Yuan’s sword feather bladewing forms bright bladewings across the battlefield, Immortal Gu Houses look extremely fragile; only Green Cloud Spark Warship resists them. Whale Fishing Boat’s final layer of defense is penetrated, and over ten bladewings fly in and start a rampage. Xia Rui Zhi is killed inside the Immortal Gu House. ch. 2070
