Steal Dao is the immortal killer move Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable used to create theft path. It steals dao marks directly from the natural world.
At treasure moon oasis, Fang clan’s damaged theft path Immortal Gu House fires the immortal killer move while Fang Gong pins Dong Lu Chen. Fang Di Chang answers that it is Steal Dao, and Dong Lu Chen’s anger turns to shock. Natural dao marks of the oasis become exposed as woven lines, webs, and thread-like masses, then are drawn into the house. After creating the move, Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable gathered enough foundation for a qualitative change and established theft path. ch. 1779
The assault intimidates Western Desert’s righteous path. Used on a resource point, the effect is immediate and leaves no way to recover the point, unlike ordinary destruction. Treasure moon oasis is wiped from existence as a mid sized resource point while Dong Lu Chen himself stays unhurt. Fang clan’s cast has rank eight power yet places a huge burden on the damaged house, so it cannot be used extensively and is unstable; Fang Yuan judges they likely lack the complete true inheritance or have not grasped it fully. ch. 1780
True inheritance
Fang Yuan obtains that true inheritance and finds Steal Dao is its essence. In that record the move can take any dao mark in the world, not only lives or objects. The same inheritance records the theft path Immortal Gu House Thieves Den. ch. 1857
Thieves Den cast
Outside a grotto-heaven entrance, Fang Yuan takes out repaired Thieves Den and fires Steal Dao. The move uses theft path immortal materials as catalyst: their theft path dao marks are consumed at once, outside dao marks are stolen, and those stolen marks must attach to the materials. Disorderly stolen dao marks leave the materials without value; Thieves Den can steal outside dao marks but has no method to use them, and as a peak creation it cannot be modified further. Stolen unrestrained heavenly marks form a heaven path immortal material that Fang Yuan then feeds into a food path move. ch. 2133
