One of the immemorial nine heavens. In Ren Zu lore, Verdant Great Sun plucks jade sky bamboo there before ascending to blue heaven.
Appearance
Verdant Great Sun flies higher and higher until he reaches the limits of heaven, the end of azure heaven. There, jade bamboos grow in the air with lustrous green leaves. They are rooted in the void, and their tips extend into the unknown void; looking from outside, one can only see their thin long stems. He takes a dark green palm-sized hollow segment that feels like jade and continues upward. ch. 371
In The Legends of Ren Zu, azure heaven is one of the nine sky levels: white heaven, red heaven, orange heaven, yellow heaven, green heaven, azure heaven, blue heaven, purple heaven, and black heaven. ch. 371
At present, red, orange, yellow, green, azure, blue, and purple heavens are no more, and only white heaven and black heaven remain. ch. 389
Destruction among seven heavens
Verdant Great Sun obtains a segment of the jade-green jade bamboo in azure heaven while refining fixed immortal travel Gu. Azure heaven is listed among the immemorial nine heavens and is later destroyed with red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple when Ren Zu’s son causes havoc, leaving only white and black heavens alternating between day and night. ch. 466
Jade harvest and injury
Heaven flying jade is a type of jade that can allow a person to fly in azure heaven of the immemorial nine heavens. This jade has mystical senses like a bird or beast and can avoid capture on its own. An Eastern Sea Gu Immortal once entered a large azure heaven fragment world for exploration, obtaining more than four hundred heaven flying jades in the process while getting injured. ch. 753
