Derivation Gu

A later reading of The Legends of Ren Zu restates Ren Zu retrieving his ten children’s corpses and sacrificing himself into derivation Gu’s stomach. Chu Du states that Limitless Demon Venerable refined the legendary derivation Gu, hid inside Crazed Demon Cave in his later years, and ran experiments and Gu refinements on it while pursuing eternal life. The Three Crazed Demon Eccentrics aim to reach the formation’s core, control derivation Gu, and make the formation work for them. ^{ch. 1176}

Fang Yuan later calls derivation Gu a rank nine Immortal Gu and judges that even obtaining it would be a huge burden, comparing that problem to Wisdom Gu. He also notes it remains at the bottom layer under the Eccentrics’ guard. ^{ch. 1189} Still later he wonders whether prior venerables went on to the ninth layer, and if they did, why they did not destroy the formation and take away the rank nine derivation Gu. ^{ch. 1867} During the later fight he wonders whether the derivation Gu from The Legends of Ren Zu and Limitless Demon Venerable’s study of eternal life sit at the center of the orbiting rank nine formation. ^{ch. 2187}

Star Constellation Immortal Venerable names rank nine derivation Immortal Gu as hers and plans to use it for human path development. ^{ch. 2246} After the battle in Crazed Demon Cave she takes a piece of truthful floating ice that contains derivation Gu, uses Heavenly Court’s heaven path research to unseal it, and retrieves the Gu. She then makes rank nine derivation Immortal Gu the main core of a derivation formation meant to develop human path. It is a legendary Immortal Gu first recorded in The Legends of Ren Zu, once obtained by Limitless Demon Venerable and used as the core of his Crazed Demon formation. ^{ch. 2274}
